SELECT Programs offers semester and / or yearly programs to students in the community that teach them professional and soft skills, as well as a survey styled approach for each different Technology Track. You can read more about the skills we teach on our Curriculum page.
Summer 2022 Virtual Starter Program
Tuesdays, Time is TBD
May 23, 2022 – June 11, 2022 Throughout the program students will participate in a one-hour class session via Google Meet every week to collaborate with their peers and receive instruction on a variety of soft, professional, and sophisticated technology skills from their Program Leader. Students will then complete activities and assessments to demonstrate their knowledge and mastery of the skills taught. June 1, 2022 – June 29, 2022 Throughout the program students will participate in a one-hour class session via Google Meet every week to collaborate with their peers and receive instruction on vocabulary and concepts related to website development and design. Students will then complete weekly projects and receive feedback from their Program Leader and peers to grow their knowledge and mastery of the Technology Track. Registration To Open At A Later Date $50/student Audio and Video Production Technology Track Virtual Program Mondays, Time is TBD
August 1, 2022 – August 29, 2022 Throughout the program students will participate in a one-hour class session via Google Meet every week to collaborate with their peers and receive instruction on vocabulary and concepts related to audio and video production. Students will then complete weekly projects and receive feedback from their Program Leader and peers to grow their knowledge and mastery of the Technology Track. *Due to the nature of this program, students who register may be required to pay a deposit for the equipment and materials necessary for completing the program. The deposit cost will vary depending on the focus of each program and is 100% refundable once all equipment and materials have been properly returned to the organization.
